Description:
New Works of Merit Playwriting Contest was developed in 2003 to bring works of social significance to the attention of Producers and Artistic Directors.
As a direct result of the Contest:
12 Scripts were Produced in NYC
27 Winning Scripts received a NYC Reading with Q & A
21 Additional Scripts received a NYC Reading with Q & A
3 Scripts were given a Development Workshop in NYC
3 Scripts were Published in Best American Short Plays by Applause Books
